Returns from USN is allocated strategically to benefit the ecosystem.

  • A substantial portion (80%) is distributed as yield to USN holders. This portion of the return is generated in USDT or USDC, which is then in turn used to mint USN directly into the USN staking contract.

  • A small portion (10%) is allocated to the Noon Insurance Fund (NIF). This portion of the return is generated in USDT or USDC, which is then moved regularly into the NIF. When this fund is sufficiently capitalised (after 3 months), we use these funds to buy-back NOON tokens, and distribute them to staked NOON (sNOON) holders.

  • A small portion (10%) will be allocated to the Noon Operating Fund. These funds will be used only to cover the operating costs of Noon. Any funds left over after covering the operating costs of Noon will be transferred to the NIF, and further distributed accordingly.

We have endeavoured to ensure that as much of Noon's raw returns are distributed to our users as possible. We will continue in this vein in the future.
