Summary details about NOON and sNOON

This section will contain high-level summaries on the Noon protocol's governance (NOON) and staked governance (sNOON) tokens. These will be further detailed prior to the Token Generation Event (TGE) for these tokens, which is planned for late Q2 2025.

$NOON is the governance token of the Noon protocol ecosystem. NOON can be staked, giving stakers $sNOON. sNOON holders will receive funds left undeployed after the Noon Insurance Fund (NIF) is fully capitalised.

Users of the Noon protocol will recieve points until the token generation event (TGE) of the NOON token. After this TGE, users will be able to use their points to claim NOON tokens using the Noon dapp. We anticipate this TGE occuring in Q2 2025.
