How to Buy Noon Assets

How to buy Noon's assets on our own website or on a decentralized exchange.

If you're an institution looking to mint $USN directly with the protocol (after passing KYB checks), that's a different process documented on Mint & Redeem.

Before you start

You'll need several items to buy Noon's assets on Ethereum:

• A self-custody wallet. Noon supports most major digital wallets (full list available on the Noon App)

• The tokens you wish to use to purchase Noon assets. You can see the list of tokens you can purchase Noon assets with on the Noon App (you can use a more extensive set of tokens directly on DEX)

• A small amount of ETH for gas. Any transaction on the Ethereum chain requires gas fees to be paid in ETH

You should also confirm which chain you want to hold $USN or $sUSN on ($NOON only exists on Ethereum). $USN and $sUSN live on multiple chains - after purchasing them on Ethereum, you can use the Bridge function on the Noon App to bridge $USN or $sUSN to your choice of supported chain. A complete list of supported chains are also available on the Noon App.

Where to buy

The easiest way is on the Noon App, which routes you to available liquidity in a just a few clicks. If you'd rather use a DEX directly, $USN, $USN and $NOON trade on Uniswap (and $NOON also trades on KuCoin).

Connect your wallet to the Noon App. Confirm that you are on the right network.

Select an output token

Set $USN, $sUSN or $NOON as the output token.

Enter an amount

Review the quote, including the rate and price impact.

Check slippage

A small tolerance suits a stablecoin pair. Large price impact on a small trade indicates thin liquidity. Try another pool or use a smaller amount.

Confirm the swap

Confirm the swap and wait for it to settle.

Now what?

Now your money goes to work. Immediately. Hold $USN and you earn Noon points. Hold $sUSN and you earn yield plus (fewer) points, the hands-free way to grow your stack. Stake $NOON to get access to governance rights, additional $NOON staking rewards via Open Staking, and direct monthly distributions via the Noon buyback program.
