# Minting & Redemption

## All users

All users are able to buy and sell **USN** and **sUSN** via permisionless markets on Decentralised Exchanges (DEXes). The easiest way to do so is to navigate to the "Buy" page on the **Noon** dapp ([**here**](https://app.noon.capital/get/buy)), which is integrated with all the different DEXes that list **Noon** across all chains.

## Minting & Redeeming

* **Minting and redeeming is Permissioned**\
 The mint and redeem functions are restricted. Only wallets that have been **whitelisted** are able to mint **Noon** Capital assets.
* **Why do we require Whitelisting?**\
 For regulatory and compliance reasons (AML + KYC / KYB), only users that meet specific criteria can be approved.
* **Who can be Whitelisted?**\
 These criteria mean that **Noon** is only able to whitelist institutions at this time.
* **How to Get Whitelisted**\
 If you are interested in primary market access (minting/redeeming) and fit the above criteria, please reach out at **<whitelist@noon.capital>** and our team will guide you through the onboarding process.
* **Capabilities Once Whitelisted**
 * Mint new tokens directly against the underlying assets
 * Redeem tokens back for settlement at 1:1
